MilPolice Equipment, the manufacturers of the Weapon Clear range, launch their latest innovation - TyreDestroyer

TyreDestroyer is primarily designed to provide an effective and efficient alternative to Hatton rounds in pre planned operations.

The unit is designed to penetrate the sidewall of a tyre and the operator can either twist the handle clockwise to allow the spike to be left in the tyre or twist left to increase the hole allowing the resultant damage to look similar to pot hole damage.

The unit is vented allowing controlled deflation while the spike is still attached.

The reverse end has a convenient glass breaker.

Whilst being extremely effective the unit also allows for firearms and other units to formulate policy, training and operational guidelines for dealing with disabling vehicles without having to use firearms which remove the element of surprise on pre-planned operations.
